Due to Adelaide's climate and traditionally dry Spring and Summer seasons, our planting activities are carried out during the wetter period from June to August to allow better establishment of the seedlings.
Now that the rain has arrived we are finalising the dates and locations for our 2010 community planting days (click for 2010 calendar). You can also find locations for Million Trees Sites in Google Maps. However, please also consider:
- Becoming a Friend of the Urban Forest to be kept informed of future events; and/or
- Checking out other conservation activities that you may be able to get involved in.
- Also think about putting some local native plants in your own backyards with information from the Backyards for Wildlife Program.
